Note these instructions we tested under Windows but apply more or less to Linux/Unix installs as well

--Some stumbling blocks when doing PostGIS make check --

1. You have multiple PostgreSQL installs

If you have multiple PostgreSQL installs as is the case if you are a package developer or just tsting diligently, the first thing you want to make sure is that you are testing the right PostgreSQL install. To do so do the following:
