PostgreSQL views have no attributes in FDO 3.4.1

Description
AutoCAD Map 3D 2008 has the ability to use PostGIS views with attributes (for labels or query filters) using the FDO 3.2 provider from GEOMAP
However, this doesn't work with AutoCAD Map 3D 2010 with FDO 3.4.x. With version 3.4.0, the behaviour is that the database views are not listed as an available sources in the "Add Data" dialog (only tables are shown). With version 3.4.1 and from GEOMAP, the database views are listed, and correctly show feature data on the map, however there are no attributes for the features. When a table is shown for the layer, there is only 1 blank column with all <NULL> values for each feature (see attached).

Further PostGIS Provider development has been routed to the PostgreSQL Provider. Advise using that provider.
