Description
Just finished some basic testing of the MapGuide component of the OSGeo Live DVD 4 RC6. Looking great so far!
Not sure if it's too late, but there are a few minor items that I'd love to see changed if possible:
- MapGuide and MapGuide Maestro are registered under the "Browser Clients" category. I really think they would be more appropriate under "Web Services".
- It would be good if there was an entry for the MapGuide administrator username/password in the passwords.txt file (Administrator/admin)
- It would be helpful if we could include a link to the MapGuide administrative web console (http://localhost:8008/mapguide/mapadmin/)
None of these are critical, but I think the first is likely confusing to new users.
I would be happy to make these changes myself, but have no idea how the dvd is built, what I'd have to change.

mapguide has an entry in passwords, and a quickstart, which seem to work in rc9

Replying to jbirch:
done in r4531. but again the servers menu is badly bloated and I look for ways to fix that.
the file is stored in the doc/ dir. go for it.
add a *.desktop launcher to the user's Desktop/, see the sahana install script for an example. keep the filename consistent with the other mapguide.desktop files so it gets in the menu ok.
install_desktop.sh does the sorting, but please take great care if you touch it. Almost nothing will fit cleanly into one category, and it is a huge mess to allow duplicate placement, so we just have to pick the best label and not worry too much as there is really no "correct" answer. (different users will use the same program in very different ways)
