It is good to get this feedback; I'll see what I can comment on...
see #626. failing that, try to convince Alex it's a good idea, but I suspect it would only stay put on the VM, perhaps not on the ISO(??).
longer worded version is in the Geospatial menu, it was kept short on the desktop as xfwm has a bad habit of shorten... names after they get more than half a dozen letters long. The icon was kept as a road sign on purpose :)
not everything is bloatware, the 20 or so sgt-puzzles: 2.5mb installed.
put on there in solidarity with conference goers stuck in airports or in boring talks/meetings.
I'd like to clean up the data/ dir, the home dir itself is a bit of a free for all.
no root password in ubuntu. explained in the welcome message text.
anyone else see that? probably running out of 512mb RAM, and the X server getting killed by the kernel.
see #755. Sure, if we had more space...
mini doesn't include the installers. dead links are not nice, but fwiw explained in the welcome message text.
I believe the author was referring to the actual desktop folder, but a valid point.
