The installcheck-by-func is basically an upgrade test, upgrading from unpackaged self

Port to 3.2 branch: [437540ccd58ba7bb398d2dac75da3f6f5dddc8ad/git] and for the record the master branch has this as [20d228931b9b4a0a594669df27bdc25dbc30a146/git]

I cannot reproduce the problem locally, will try a debug build on dronie
