Or test after is turned GSERIALIZED_ON in gserialized.h and all relevant dead code is removed.
- check again that all the regression failures are actually ones we're
willing to accept (they are mostly about slight changes in the output of M-valued geometries in nested WKT, and Paul has decided they are "good" regressions)

This is done, die is cast, etc. See r7389 for the actual regression changes. Removing the dead code won't change behaviour, any further.
