could not retrive spatial data from sql server 2008

Description
i've installed sql server 2008 in my system, imported spatial data into it using "shape2sql" tool and placed "sql server spatial" providers in the fdo directory but, when i open a new "data connection" in mapguide it shows an error as "No spatial contexts found"
