Since OSGeo4W Setup GUI uses translated string based on the system language, I think it would be useful if it was possible to select the preferred language directly in the GUI with a drop-down list overriding then the system language (i.e. the English language instead of the Italian language on an Italian system).

I hope the language selection could be added in the GUI, as well as in the CLI.

It has been that way for years - just the italian translation is new. And the
--langoption.osgeo4w-setup --help Starting OSGeo4W install, version 2.579 using locales .1252 Command Line Options: … --lang language to show ui in … Ending OSGeo4W install
